1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. This policy also covers similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage. When they can identify a person, their use is governed by Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 on personal data protection and requires your prior authorization, except for those strictly necessary for the site to work.
2. Cookies used on this site
This website doesn’t store cookies or similar technologies on your device (the Control Panel, in section 3, does use technical cookies to sign in). We don’t use analytics, advertising or third-party cookies, and we serve fonts from our own server. That’s why we don’t show you a cookie notice: there is nothing to accept or reject.
To count visits we use Umami, hosted on our own servers, which stores nothing on your device: it works out aggregate statistics without identifying you. See the data processing policy.
3. Control Panel cookies
The Control Panel (www.extandar.com/c), where companies manage their account, only uses first-party technical cookies that are strictly necessary to sign in securely. They aren’t used to track you or for advertising, aren’t shared with third parties and, being necessary for the service you request, don’t require your acceptance. They are only sent to the Control Panel itself and can’t be read from the browser (HttpOnly).
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| extandar_access | Technical, first-party | Identify your session on each request | 15 minutes (renewed while you use the Panel) |
| extandar_refresh | Technical, first-party | Keep you signed in without typing your password again | 30 days from last use, or until you sign out |
| extandar_google_flow | Technical, first-party (only if you sign in with Google) | Check, when you come back from Google, that you started the sign-in in this browser | 10 minutes |
| extandar_google_signup | Technical, first-party (only if you create your account with Google) | Remember your Google sign-up while you confirm your details | 30 minutes |
| extandar-locale | Technical, first-party (local storage) | Remember the language you chose | Until you delete it |
4. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies from your browser’s privacy settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge or others). If you block technical cookies, some parts of a website may not work properly.
5. Changes to this policy
If we start using new cookies, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your authorization before setting them. To learn how we process your data, see the data processing policy.
